Objectives:
At Holy Trinity, we place special emphasis on making each child feel accepted and comfortable in the school situation. Enrollment is open to children three through five years of age.

Each child is given the opportunity to:

• Explore and discover his/her enlarging world in a happy, relaxed atmosphere.

• Learn to get along with others.

• Develop physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually.

• Acquire skills in academics and pre-concepts.

• Learn to LOVE learning and coming to school

• Create and communicate.

• Experience joy and beauty.

Our Classes/Curriculum:
A typical day at Holy Trinity Lutheran includes ”Learning Center Time”, during which a child can explore, discover, touch, create, pretend, and relate to the other children. Outdoor play is an important part of our program. Activities in which each class participates as a whole include singing, rhythms, dancing, “talk-time”, dramatizations, story time, counting games, and many other art projects. There is also a mid-morning snack, which is provided by the students and parents on a rotation basis.

 

Our curriculum emphasizes the development of your child’s social skills, including building friendships, respect for others, conflict resolution, and advocating for one’s needs and ideas. Our goal is to promote self-esteem and problem solving abilities, which help children gain the confidence to face new experiences.

Preschool Hours:
Our preschool offers an enrichment program serving children 3 to 5 years of age.
We offer the following programs:

• Preschool Tues. & Thurs. 9:00am.-12:00 pm. for 3-4 year olds.

• PreK/Kindergarten Readiness 9:00 am.-12:00 pm. for 4-5 year olds.
   

Registration:
A non-refundable registration fee is required to secure classroom placement for your child. These fees are collected once for Fall and once for Summer and applied towards programming.

Tuition:
The preschool is a non-profit organization supported entirely by family paid tuition. There are no adjustments for absences due to sickness or vacations. If a child withdraws from the program, a two-week notice is required.

Our Program is a Joint Ministry
The preschool involves the child, family, staff, congregation, & the community ministry. It is operated on a non-discriminatory basis offering equal treatment and access to all children without regard to sex, race, color, creed, or political belief.
